"Self-Love" An Important Key to Success and Fulfillment!
In the natural scheme of things our basic desires are to be loved, to be seen, to be heard, to be important, to be approved of, to be accepted, to be respected, to be touched, to be liked, to be free, to feel secure, to not hurt. . .Our misconceptions are that things and people provide these things for us, which often leaves us feeling empty when they don't. The only way to fulfillment is through"Self-Love" fueled by an understanding and acceptance of ourselves, our connection to, our oneness with our Creator and the Love of the Divine for us, in us, as us.
There is a very powerful writing that states: "we must love our "Creator" with all our mind, all our heart and all our spirit, and love our neighbor as "Ourself." Many of us miss this. Why do you think that loving ourselves was not emphasized in this powerful commandment? Because we are one with our "Divine Creator" and therefore we were already told to love ourselves with all our mind, heart and spirit. . .when we were told to love our Creator.
True "Self" love is "Spiritual" In loving ourselves we look for and find the Good (God, Universe, Higher-Self, Christ Presence, Principle, Divine Essence, etc.) within ourselves within all of creation, every situation and circumstance, even when it has come to teach us and is therefore sometimes painful or uncomfortable. As we learn to accept and respect ourselves for who we are and for who we are not, we begin to create a pattern of harmony within our own mind and souls. One great man once cried out "create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me." Our seeming imperfections create our great character, embrace them. Where growth is needed does not constitute self-rejection. To honor and embrace your inner beauty as well and your outer beauty is inevitable.
Learn to accept responsibility for the choices and decisions you make; endeavor to make them with prayerful guidance, seeking wisdom, knowledge and understanding from the "Divine Guide" within; and when your choices and decisions seem to not line-up with your highest desires for yourself and others you take the responsibility through prayer to change them.
Honor your time, organize and prioritize your thoughts and/or efforts as not to stress yourself and/or others around you. Take self-inventory through-out each day, make necessary adjustments that denote the love of "Self." the honoring of the Divine within. Pray, meditate, journal, study, read and/or listen to personal and spiritual growth materials.
Circulate your love, money, gifts and talents wisely and generously, for what you give away from your heart you keep. For it always returns to you multiplied. So in loving yourself it is okay to shower yourself with nice things, but they are not the proof of your love for yourself. It is in consistently seeking to understand what your healthy needs are, then prayerfully and diligently setting-out to fulfill them, that is true "Self-Love!"

Please be aware that within you lies the beauty of all that is good. Within you there is a buried treasure of pure perfection. Keeping in mind that the "Spiritual Idea" of perfection has nothing to with being flawless; it is understanding that your seeming imperfections are made perfect by the realization that you are a magnificent, unrepeatable "Expression of Love" manifested through "Divine Mind!" Getting beyond the clouds of doubt, fear, low-self image, and low self-esteem is the key. What lies beneath the clouds is a beautiful sky filled with sunshine within you. Packed with hopes and dreams of a better tomorrow; not yet understanding that when tomorrow comes it is always today, therefore, we cannot live in tomorrow, for there is in true essence, only today. . . and if we can but appreciate the moment, live in it as it unfolds, look for the good in it, bask in that recognition, allow ourselves to be completely present and engaged in the luxury of the "Moment" in the luxury of "Self" in our opulent "Universe" and our oneness with the "Divine;" our true identity of "Divinity" we can then create our today’s to be just as our "Creator" intended, everything good that we need, want and desire. And if we experience something that appears to be adverse we have the choice to look for and find the good in it, for it came to teach us and to bless us. . .For in all things there is a lesson and a blessing if we but look for it! We can then learn to live each moment as the treasure that it is, imaging the good with great expectations and without distraction. There are no more yesterdays or tomorrows, therefore what ever seeming negatives that falsely appeared to have existed dissipate into the nothingness that they are and as our moment is filled with the great joy of great expectations fulfilled in the only reality there is, the reality of the"Now!"
Reach for the sky! For yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift and this is why we call it the present; It is the gift of our only reality! So treasure it with all your heart live in it with great vigor and tenacity, live only in the now! Bless, forgive and release the past. Image a divine future with all your needs, wants, and desires being met and made manifest by the rich substance of the "Divine" which then becomes our today and our every today will ultimately be that way even in the midst of seeming adversity!
Let "Forgiveness" be your canvass, "Acceptance" your paint brush, "Tolerance" your easel and "Love" your finished product! Give the best of yourself. Want and expect the best for yourself, and always want for everyone else the same thing you want for yourself, expecting their best to you. Never forget, for this is the "Golden Rule" "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!' For what you want, do, think, feel, say to or about and/or give to others you are actually wanting, doing thinking, feeling, and saying to or about and/or giving to yourself. So, never give up, always believe in the impossible, stay focused, be patient, enjoy each moment of the process and watch your desired good manifest!
