Welcome To My Website I Am So Grateful To Share This Time And Space With Such Wonderful People like You, So I Say "Welcome Home!"

Please allow me to share a bit about myself and my life starting with my profound entry onto the planet. I was born to my teenage mother and father on the southside of Chicago, which was vastly becoming an urban ghetto. The growing dysfunction in my neighborhood had nothing on the growing dysfunction in my home. My mother, a narcissistic, spoiled child who thought the world revolved around her. She had no clue about being a parent after all, she was still a child herself. My father was a hard working young man a, workaholic who just wanted to support his family. And though dad had more of a clue when it comes to structure and discipline than my mother, like her, he had no clue as to the mental and emotional needs crucial to the healthy development of a child. I am the second of two of her living children at the time. I was born with some birth defects. My mother says that it took the doctors an unusually long time to get me to breathe. In her words "I was stillborn and revived." My toes and feet were humped and twisted, a condition called "club feet." A few of my fingers were also deformed. Though I was cute as a button, I grew up in a home, society and era where the beautiful chocolate brown tone of my skin, my gorgeous thick lips, and cute little pug nose, short slightly thick frame did not line-up with the pseudo and prejudice idea of beauty, which was tall, slim, blue-eyed and blonde. Much of the societal abuses, mistreatment, hatred and rejection of slavery turned inwardly even to this day to generations of slave descendants and became generational self-abuse; ultimately abuse of one another, self-hatred, and self-rejection. In this my mother was physically, mentally, emotionally and verbally abusive toward me, my older sister and younger brother, of her first set of living children (there would be a second set of 3). She and my father divorced and we moved-in the dysfunctional home of my maternal grandparents who often hosted weekend card games, gambling to supplement their income and this exposed us to some really shady characters. Fastforward to the age of 7 when I made my first of three failed attempts at suicide. I was shot at age 15. I had my first child at age 16. My second son was killed while still in my womb, by a violent man with police in s.w.a.t. gear while jumping up as high as he could and coming down on my stomach with his hard-toe boot. I was raped four different times, once at gunpoint and once at the point of strangulation. I lived in a building where on any given day a drunk slept on the stairs in my building; a homosexual perfor-ming oral sex on a man on our back porch stairway in my view as I looked on as a small child not really understanding what I was seeing. My younger brother was kidnapped twice at ages 3 and 5; and chased home by a man at the age of ten at three o'clock am in the middle of the night when he should have been safe in bed. Our family and neighbors chased the man each time and got my baby brother back. I was traumatized. I never even remember anyone calling the police. As a child and as an adult a burglar climbed into my window three separate times, while I slept. Needless to say, eventually, I was diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder. There were two more attempted rapes among years and years of challenges. I am writing my life-story as a testiment to the healing power of connecting with our Creator and learning how to love ourselves to overcome any obstacle and begin to create the life of our dreams. For many years I sought answers to a life so filled with trauma, heartache and despair.. I was ordained by the Rev. Mary Johnson, Founder of Faith City Communications, formerly in downtown Chicago. I also studied with the Rev. Dr. Johnnie Colemon former President of Unity International Prayer Ministry. Now President Emeritus, Retired Minister and Founder of The Johnnie Colemon Institute, Christ Universal Temple and Multiple Churches and World-Wide Study Groups under the Universal Foundation for Better Living, with some of the best Life-Transformation and Spiritual Teacher's teaching the Art of The Realization of Human Potential based on Spiritual Understanding and Self-Awareness for over twenty 20 years. Many Great Resource Guides, for over 30 years. I also studied and worked with Minister Selah, as Assistant Minister; with Rev. Joseph E. Hill, as Transportation Coordinator and Student Teacher; and with Rev. Gwindol Tate, as Registrar. I studied with Drs.' Bob and Judith Wright, Renown Educators, Authors, Life-Transformation Specialist, at The Wright Leadership and Graduate Institute for The Realization of Human Potential. I served as President of Pathfinders Toastmasters, a local chapter of Toastmasters International Speakers Organization; as Chairperson of the Annual Conference of the National African American Speakers Organization, as well as their Featured Vocalist, where I was awarded Professional Speakers status, and as Co-Chair Nominee of the Public Relations Department. I also served as Public Relations Associate to Norma Thompson Hollis Companies: Founder-President, Speaker and Author of Speakers Etc, Ten Steps to Authenticity, Black Speakers Online, The Process to Become A Professional Speaker and Norma Hollis Protege' Program. I have participated in countless "Life-Transformation" Seminars, Workshops and Programs, and am currently Founder of Marjorie Merrill Motivates At I Am Unlimited. Com. My message of "Self-Love" and "Spiritual Awareness" is one of the most profound methods available to help anyone to accomplish their dreams. As well as help those without dreams, goals, direction to discover their true life's path, to create a plan of action, the best way to proceed; accomplishing each goal and dream in the best, most affective, efficient, loving, powerful, dynamic and fulfilling ways.
